Le Bab x Arcade

Soho’s original Le Bab, serving refined, contemporary kebabs, is part of a trio of Le Bab concepts that between them deliver the full spectrum of modern kebabs; from modern kebab house Maison Bab, to the recently opened, critically acclaimed fine dining project, Kebab Queen.

Founders Stephen Tozer, Ed Brunet and Manu Canales hold life-long passions for cooking, with Ed amassing 11 Michelin stars across the UK restaurant scene. Ed and Executive Chef Manu worked together at Mayfair’s Le Gavroche before joining Stephen to set up a new concept. Inspired by their joint experiences, the kebab houses of London and the UK, and the food scenes of Turkey, Israel and Berlin, Le Bab was born.

An ingredient-led approach, seasonality, sustainability and ethics are at the heart of Le Bab’s identity, with kebabs based around seasonal produce, hybridising kebab styles and influences. Kebab is a dish with unique and original definition and Le Bab’s dishes have influences from both traditional and non-traditional kebab heartlands, including the USA. Signature kebabs are based on the classic kebabs of Lebanon and Turkey, with added global flavours and unami taste, which integrate dishes with Middle Eastern palate.

Arcade brings Le Bab to the heart of London with signature dishes including ‘Fried Chicken’ Shish Kebab, BBQ free range chicken shish kebab with southern fried chicken skin, red cabbage slaw and Kashmir chilli mayo; Roast Aubergine ‘Sabich’, Israeli-inspired flatbread of spice-roasted aubergine with yoghurt, chilli peanuts, shallots and coriander; and Dipped Lamb Adana, Texel lamb Adana dipped in molasses lamb jus, with crispy pickled onions, herb yoghurt and pickled cucumber.
