In honour of all the Hot Pink Margaritas we’ve missed, our Head of Drinks Daniel has shared a simple Margarita recipe so you can mix things up at home. It only has three ingredients, so no excuses. Margaritas are mostly shaken and served straight up in a martini / coupe glass or over ice in a short tumbler. They can also be blended with ice and served frozen for a refreshing heat wave treat.
2 parts tequila
1 part triple sec (orange) liqueur
1 part lime juice
Shake using tin or any jar available.
For an authentic finish, use a wedge of lime to wet the rim of the glass and finish it with a light coating of salt. If you have a blender, you can try adding frozen fruits, such as mango, pineapple or berries,
